Swimming With Daddy
We have an indoor pool located in our townhome community. Doug was needing a break from studying for boards and decided to take the girls swimming. I was sick that day so he took them by himself. Based on our experiences from previous swimming excursions at St. Regis, I was afraid the girls would be too much for him to handle. Neither one of them liked the water and the HATED wearing their swimming gear. I'm not sure what happened over the past year, but they enjoyed every second in the water. Now they ask every day if they can go and get in the pool. I can't wait until Doug's boards are done and HE can start taking them over more.

how fun! i wish we had a pool that close (and that free!) i love miriam's swimsuit, very cute ; ) Looks like they had a great time!
Well look at your Water Babies! I am so thrilled that they got the hang of swimming. Now you will have easy summer activities for the rest of their lives. :) And I am so glad Doug loved taking them. I love when you find good "Daddy time" activities. I am also glad you have an indoor pool! Idaho is just way too cold for an outdoor one. It would be more of a skating rink! :)
They look so happy!! I wish I had a clubhouse, workout room & pool right by me.
How awesome!! What a great feature to have close by. I would SOOO be there every day!
Check out your snazzy pool! It looks much warmer than the one here at St. Regis!!! Come to think of it, I don't believe I ever went swimming in it last year--it was always too cold. The girls are getting so big. How is Shay liking preschool? I signed Tennyson up at the YMCA. He'll start next fall and go three days a week.
Hi Mallena!!!!!!!!
It's so good to see the girls. It was good to see your husband in church too.
I miss you :)
