Doug was determined that he and the girls would go out and fly kites this week during his break. We bought the kites but then had to wait a few days for the rain to go away and some wind to come. Yesterday the weather finally cooperated and we headed for the park.We stopped by the grocery store and bought the fixings for a very yummy picnic. After we ate the girls and Doug enjoyed flying their kites. The wind would pick up for a few minutes, but then stop. It made for some interesting flying, but the girls didn't notice. They were just thrilled to spend time outside with their dad.
This is me, checking to make sure I don't step in doggy doo-doo. Yuck!

how fun! Also, nobody should be able to look like that after having two kids! or even one kid for that matter~ you look amazing ; )

FUN!! I am glad you guys are having fun this week with Doug home. I love that picture of Doug running with the kite.
And it makes me so mad when people bring their dogs to places like that and let them poop without cleaning up after. As you can tell that hit a mad spot!!

LOVE your header pic! HOW ADORABLE! And flying kites? AWESOME Idea! That would make for an interesting Wii game, don't ya think??? But for now, we'll take the real thing (hehehe). We might have to copycat and do that sometime this week--supposed to be a bit of wind! :)
