Hello and Welcome! I hope you all arrived here without too much trouble. I feel honored that you want to continue to follow the exciting twists and turns of our family.
I'd better explain now why I went private. Doug will be gone for the next year doing rotations for Optometry school. I wanted to keep him updated with all our little mundane goings on, but I didn't want just anyone to be able to see us. Normally I wouldn't worry about it, but three females living alone, not a great thing to advertise. Thus, here we are. Don't worry; at the end of next May, we'll be happily living together in the same home. Sorry if I worried some of you unnecessarily. I was just trying to be cautious with what I posted.
I have lots to post about and now that I've finally listed us as private, the fun can begin. I hope you enjoy the new look, the new music (okay, same music, just mixed up a little bit), and the new things our family is doing.
I LOVE comments so please feel free to express yourselves!
Let the FUN BEGIN!

I love your new blog look! Smart thinking about going private. I can see why you did it. That must be so hard being away from Doug. When will you get to see him again? Oh guess what? I got a new calling. I am no longer the Primary secretary. Now I am the YW second counselor. I'm pretty excited about it. Today was our first Sunday with the YW. Lindsay True is the President and Shilowe is the first counselor.
And here I was moaning about having to go to church by myself with the kids, and you're going it alone until next May. I feel for ya! Hope all is well.
Wow your blog looks so fun. I love the new picture at the top. I totally understand your reasons why you would want to be private. I would to if Luke were gone and I was alone with the kids. Good Luck with everything. We miss you.
Doing this to feel more safe is a smart idea. I'll write back later today but I'm so sorry Doug's first rotation stinks. I'm sure it's so hard for both of you.
Cute cute family!
Hey thanks for including me on your now private blog. That has to be hard to be away from him for so long. Will he be coming home for long blocks of time or be gone the whole time?
I really like this family picture MUCH better than the one we took out back. I'm glad you went private for your whole family's sake.
I am glad that you are doing good, well as good as you could being away from Doug... you had me worried...If you need to get out and want some adult time let me know... I am not that far away...

I am so relieved that you went private for a reason that was not tragic. I was scared to death that you were about to reveal a cancer diagnosis or something horrible. But I think you are a very wise woman to look out for your girls like this. And I am thrilled to hear more adventures! :)
WOW! I love the family picture! Miriams hair is so cute and I love your jacket! I'm debating on whether to go private or not. It does make you feel a little safer. Good luck over the next year! We'll have to do something weekly to make the time go a little faster. How about movies every Tuesday at 1:00 in Rexburg?
I love your new family photo! It made me miss you guys! Thanks so much for the blog invite. And good luck with Doug being away. Hopefully, the time goes quickly!
I hope that you are surving without Doug around. The year that Andrew was on rotations was one of the most difficult of our lives, but we lived through it. It was so nice to be close to family during that time. After being so far away from them I really enjoyed being close even if Andrew was gone. It was very helpful to have a web cam so that the kids could see Andrew's face every now and then when they talked to him on the phone too.
