You know how sometimes you end up on a blog and you're not sure how you got there. You clicked on a random name on a friend's blog and then from there you pick another random name. Well, today I came across a blog that just screamed, "SHARE ME!" The only way I could think to share it with everyone was through my blog. The blog is called "A Little Help From Your Friends!"
It's a blog created by women who have either lost babies before or after birth, and women who are unable to conceive. My desire to be a better mother to my own two miracles has been strengthened. I have a stronger resolve to not take the little things for granted.
By the way, the title of the blog is a link. Just click it and it will take you directly there.

Family Pictures
Before Doug left for Montana our friend Rachel took some family pictures for us. With her talent that would have been enough, but she was extra generous and edited them for us. Doug and I were so excited to get them that we printed them off immediately and put them in our empty photo frames. Now we have pictures of our family on our walls instead of pictures of strangers that came in the frames. THANK YOU RACHEL!!!!!
I was going to just pick a few, but I love all of them so there are quite a few to look through. Sorry!

4th of July
Our 4th of July celebration was a little different this day. We didn't spend it watching parades, having a BBQ, or with our kids. We arranged with my GENEROUS in-laws to borrow their 4-wheelers. We left at about 10:00 a.m. and after being lost several times, we made it back around 5:30 p.m. (much later than expected). My mother-in-law is the most amazing woman and watched both of our kids, plus another one-year-old grandchild. If you'd like to see what they did for the 4th of July, click here.
We had such a great time, even my dad commented on how much fun he had, which says a lot.

Getting ready to leave.
Going through the mud puddle.
Avoiding the mud puddle. Pops didn't want to get muddy.
People herding cattle. This brought back memories of when we were kids, but we didn't get horses. We had to stand in the way of the cattle and try to look scary. Pretty hard when you're six and the cows are about three times your size.

Waiting for the cows to move.

I LOVE Idaho!

Now THAT 'S a puddle!

This is what happens when you don't have a map. You get lost and have to go over things that could kill you! Luckily we finally found a map, but we still managed to get lost.

DISCLAIMER: I'm really dirty because Doug found every mud puddle possible and made sure to go through them at full speed. His shirt had one spot that was still white and that was where my arms were wrapped around him.

After the 4-wheeling we stayed at Doug's house and watched the fireworks. Menan sure knows how to put on a good show!
Harry Potter Party
My friend Becky (party planner extraordinaire) has done it again. I got an invitation in the mail today for a Harry Potter party this weekend. Unfortunately I'm going to be out of town, but I'm grateful she sent me an invitation anyway. I'm sure it's going to be an AMAZING party.
I was so amazed by what she came up with for the invitations I wanted to share it with you. I hope that's okay Becky!
I'm surprised that she wasn't able to figure out how to deliver the invitation by owl, but I'll try not to be too critical of her.

Isn't that fantastic! I love how she added that you have to find your own squib to babysit. Also, how the Floo Network and Portkey entrance aren't permitted. I REALLY wish I could go!
