Taylor Swift

This morning on the radio I heard about an incident that happened on the VMA's last night. I thought it was horrible, but then I watched the video of it. I seriously started crying. I watched it again, and cried again. Watch and see what I'm talking about:

I feel bad for Beyonce and the position she was put in, but I LOVE the face of the guy sitting behind her. He looks so disgusted.

This is what the radio station had on their website (klce.com):

Fortunately, Taylor got another chance to complete her acceptance speech. When Beyonce accepted the Best Video Award for "Single Ladies," she invited Taylor back on stage.

"Wow, this is amazing," Beyonce said when receiving her award. "I remember being 17-years-old and up for my first MTV award with Destiny's Child. It was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So, I'd like for Taylor to come out and have her moment."

Taylor then joined Beyonce on stage and recited her acceptance speech, only making a subtle reference to the incident. Before rattling off her special thanks, she said, "Maybe we can try this again."

This is the music video Taylor Swift won the award for:

SHAME ON YOU KANYE WEST for taking away someone's moment. I've spent WAY too much time reading articles about what happened and the reactions from other artists. I have to say, I'm curious if Pink has any music I'd like. She was escorted away from Kanye West by security. Way to go! I've never been a fan of Beyonce, but after she willingly gave up the spotlight for Taylor to come back on, I'm willing to give her music another try.

Okay, now that I've included my two cents about celebrity goings on, I'm going to go pick Shay up from school. Have a good day!

That was horrible! I love that Pink had to be escorted away by security :) I'd never seen that music video before, but I LOVE it! That's my kinda love story.

Thanks for posting that clip. I'd heard about it. What a jerk he was to Taylor!

Some people. Seriously. And Pink is one off my all time favorite artists. She always speaks a true message and is very "real". It is a little "in your face" sometimes, so if you can swallow the attitude, you'd like it. I am not surprised she wanted to knock him around. Funny. Miss you!

that was such a cute video! i'd never seen it before. You know, Kanye's career is now going to take a huge downfall for what a jerk he was. good.
