Taylor Swift
This morning on the radio I heard about an incident that happened on the VMA's last night. I thought it was horrible, but then I watched the video of it. I seriously started crying. I watched it again, and cried again. Watch and see what I'm talking about:
I feel bad for Beyonce and the position she was put in, but I LOVE the face of the guy sitting behind her. He looks so disgusted.
This is what the radio station had on their website (klce.com):
SHAME ON YOU KANYE WEST for taking away someone's moment. I've spent WAY too much time reading articles about what happened and the reactions from other artists. I have to say, I'm curious if Pink has any music I'd like. She was escorted away from Kanye West by security. Way to go! I've never been a fan of Beyonce, but after she willingly gave up the spotlight for Taylor to come back on, I'm willing to give her music another try.
Okay, now that I've included my two cents about celebrity goings on, I'm going to go pick Shay up from school. Have a good day!

Fortunately, Taylor got another chance to complete her acceptance speech. When Beyonce accepted the Best Video Award for "Single Ladies," she invited Taylor back on stage.
"Wow, this is amazing," Beyonce said when receiving her award. "I remember being 17-years-old and up for my first MTV award with Destiny's Child. It was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So, I'd like for Taylor to come out and have her moment."Taylor then joined Beyonce on stage and recited her acceptance speech, only making a subtle reference to the incident. Before rattling off her special thanks, she said, "Maybe we can try this again."
This is the music video Taylor Swift won the award for:

We're Almost Done, I Promise
Okay, we're almost done with the new clothes, I promise. I think there are two more shirts that haven't been worn. Don't worry, as soon as Doug has seen all of the pictures, I'll be done posting about Miriam's clothes. Now that I think about it, I could have just sent him the pictures by email. Hmmmm.....oh well.

Another Day, Another Great Outfit
Today was our first grouchy morning. Not because I made her wake up, but because I made her turn off the movie she was watching. Miriam woke up while I was in the shower and decided instead of getting a few extra minutes of sleep, she wanted to watch a movie while I got ready. We won't be doing that again! It was a fight to get her to stop watching and get ready. I'm surprised she smiled in this picture. I think it was because I let her stand wherever she wanted and she wanted to stand by our new fall decorations.
In case you were wondering, she wore the same shoes she did yesterday--the shiny blue ones.
